Smoke and bones is 11/10 amazing. The atmosphere is great the staff friendly and attentive and the portions generous. Honestly the only thing I'd say is that if you are very tall maybe avoided the booths but I'll be going back again

This is the closest I've gotten to having BBQ which reminds me of what I used to have back in the Southern US. Everything is fantastic, and I'm so happy they serve good cornbread! If you're ever close by, stop in and try their ribs. Totally worth it!

Drive past this place every day, so i finally told the wife we should go..I was not disappointed. Got the big platter of everything for 62 bucks and everything on it was fantastic. With just the two of us, we had alot of leftovers that should feed me for the next 2 days. Texas tea was awesome and the "smoke and bones lager" was pretty well paired to the bbq flavours

It was a busy night when we came and were happy to get a table near the front door where you felt the cold but the reviews were great so we stayed. We got the ribs with sides. The ribs were a little too dry and the coleslaw was a bit starchy. Good vibes and nice lagers though. Service was good. Room for improvement ?

Overall great experience. Food was tasty and our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Was able to split our bills properly. The platters are massive and do fill you up. Highly recommend if you're craving bbq and don't want to go through the trouble yourself to make it.

Went here with some friends and got the platter, absolutely worth it. Loved the theme of the place and the meat was soooo good! Will be coming back for sure.

Great place, the meat is so tender that it comes apart of the bone with no effort. We ordered 1 main each (4 people) and 1 to share, we had 2 leftover boxes, big portions. They have a platter for 4, would say is enough for 5-6. Highly recommended.

Large portions and really good ribs! My daughter really enjoyed the meals. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is kind and helpful.

The bbq was absolutely delicious, the beef brisket is very tender and pulled port is second to none. Service was quick and friendly, definitely will be back again.

Wasn’t too bad. Ordered the platter which came with 6 different meats (chicken, pork ribs, brisket, pulled pork and sausages). Fillers were 1 corn muffin, potato salad, beans, coleslaw and slices of bread (which isn’t shareable portions) but i was here for the meats. The pulled pork and brisket was tender but the ribs were a bit tough and dry. Overall tasty, especially the small side of bbq sauce. Overall, i will return if I’m in the area.

Fantastic BBQ. Probably the best town. Great portions and reminds me of good Texan style. Brisket was best I've had but it's no slight against any of the meats or sides or appetizers. Great cocktails too. Definitely recommend, it's worth the drive!!

Order the platter to share, the ribs, chicken, brisket is all dry! This can not compare to barbecue in Texas! The meat is not moist and the sausage is dry. Also, the meat are a bit cold and do not have much meat flavour

I can't get over how good the food is here and have to keep going back. The flavour and awards on the wall have turned me into a regular customer (on the days I eat meat). Not enough true BBQ places around. Hopefully these guys are here for a while

One of the best BBQs Ive ever had, and I'm from GA so I've had my fair share of BBQs.

Came here for a work lunch. It was pretty quiet when we got there and stayed fairly quiet throughout lunch but we had reservations and were sat right away. Service was good, very prompt and accurate. The food was really really good. Everything tasted fresh and the portions were very generous.

Thoroughly enjoyed our selection as part of the Dine Out Fest: chicken chorizo soup, smoked meat platter (brisket, pulled pork, baked beans, steak fries), mac n cheese, and corn bread. Everything was absolutely on-point and we completely devoured it! Just taking off a star because the peach cobbler included with our meal was only ok and not really worth the $9 reg retail price IMO, and the regular prices for our menu choices are a bit steep compared to the portions you get.

Been to a lot of BBQ joints across NAmerica and I will have to admit.....one of the best in the Metro Vancouver area. Ribs and pulled pork were my favorite. Word to the Smoke and Bones staff.....you should put out more BBQ sauce for tasting 😛

Good looking curb appeal upon walking up. Host was friendly and got us seated quickly. Both servers were helping eacothers sections which made for a much more enjoyable experience. Food was phenomenal. We went for the BBQ platter. Also had great beer on tap. Definitely coming back.

Really good barbecue! Prices were reasonable, service was prompt and very friendly. The decor is really quite interesting. We went in on a cold dark night and left warm, happy, and full to bursting with chicken and ribs. Cornbread muffins were delicious, the potato salad was good, and the beans were excellent. Can't wait to go back!

A nice and clean restaurant with very friendly staff.The portions here are huge and they can definitely back up that they have award winning BBQ. It tasted so good, especially the beans that they have👌Their beer selection is quite good too. A very enjoyable meal was had here and I am looking forward to bringing back more people to this place againI would highly recommend

Outstanding BBQ! We had the platter with most everything they offered. Highly recommended this for at least 3 people.

Four of us in town from Minnesota. Loaded bake potatoes had brisket, cheese, bbq sauce and was great. Had beef brisket, chicken, pulled pork sandwich, and ribs. All fabulous. Great thick fries. Pit beans the only thing not great. Great service. Not a fancy place but I don’t want fancy for BBQ! Would fly back just to eat here.

My wife and I came by on Canada Day, it was quiet and our waitress while dressed for the occasion probably was not completely thrilled to be working. This was too bad because it showed. Nonetheless the service was adequate, wait time for our food was a bit too long in my opinion, probably because of orders for delivery by whatever door service people use for that. Wait time for clearing the dirty dishes was a bit long too. Personally I like it when staff who wait on other tables (especially the one beside us) help clear plates. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. So, altogether not terrible service. The waitresses even tag teamed a table vaping on the patio for us. Greatly appreciated!Food was great. I ate mine and a good part of my wife’s too. I will be back and will follow up on that experience as holiday service is a bit hit and miss sometimes. Happy I went and enjoyed the food.

Very delicious ribs! We enjoyed a nice dinner here for dine out. The servings were huge and I ended up having lunch for the following day. Only complaint was the front door kept being left open by customers coming and going and it was very drafty. The front staff was good about rushing to close it, but I wore my winter jacket through dinner.

I had BBQ chicken and it came with beans, coleslaw, cornbread, and fries. It was delicious! I'm not a big fan of coleslaw nor beans and I think it could've done without.

Best BBQ in Vancouver! When you enter you see all of the trophies on the mantel, current and old. Highly recommend this spot next time you are craving BBQ.

This site is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever I want to go to a proper meal, this restaurant comes right away to my head. good and food and a large menu.helpful crew, and good atmosphere. In addition to that, the bill is reasonable. I recommend this restaurant with great pleasure.

Great tasting food! And quick too! We ordered a mixed platter and really enjoyed all of it including brisket, ribs, chicken, pork and sausage. The side complimented the meats and it all tasted great. Keep up the great work.

Street parking is available Drinks are good and beer was amazing Service was good Brisket was heavenly you could taste the smoke in the meat, side dish was 10/10Chicken was perfectly cooked moist compare to quality, taste and weight of the dish pricing was fair. Cozy place to hangout with family and friends I would go back there again, to try the burger. Highly recommended

The meat eaters have a good choice of BBQ dishes to choose from but the choice for the vegetarians is very limited. So we had a pow-wow after ordering our drinks of Dad’s Root Beer. My companions decided to have a Portabella Mushroom Burger each, and I had a Smoked Chicken Sandwich. The Mushroom Burger was more expensive than the Chicken Burger. We liked the ambiance of the restaurant and the service girls were friendly and helpful. The interiors had the looks of an old style bar and barbecue of the Wild West days. There were barrels and tall bar stools, and shelves lining the walls with liquor bottles in the bar shelves and books and decorative items on the other side. The burgers were juicy and quite a mouthful. Service was quick, but the prices were on the higher side.

The menu changed recently. A more streamlined menu. Ive been for lunch a couple times. BBQ is good but the fries are amazing here. Service is fast and friendly. Worth the money so do yourself a favour and try it out.

I usually don't like to judge on the human element, as it can change from night to night. The food is what matters. Having said that, its important to feel welcome, and not all the staff are as polite and inviting as perhaps they should be. But this is a small complaint on top of a solid dining experience. The food is all very well made, the prices are not extravagant, the portions are generous, the atmosphere is friendly. All in all, worth a visit.

Just outside of downtown and totally worth the drive. Nice patio. Food was great and the beer was cold! Went twice on the same trip!

Stopped in for some takeout, friendly door front service and very delicious pulled pork Mac and cheese. Looking forward to my next visit.

Good food. fast service. My parents and husband shared the platter sampler for 2-3 people. I think it really fed 5 bcuz we end up getting a box to go. I ordered burger and fries. My sis a baked potato. Always great to walk into restaurant and see that you know the cook.

The ribs, sausages and beef briskets are the best! They offer one of the best BBQs you can find here on the North Shore and great values too. When you order a platter, it comes with three different meats, three different sides and two corn bread to go with your ribs. When their ribs are delicious, their fries are outstanding too. Their fries are really well seasoned, and they somehow remind me of one of those Asian shaked fries. One thing about their location is that it has some sort of stink and it kind of makes me lose a bit of my appetite. Really great place though, I really recommend it!
